Beit Shemesh Mayor Dr. Aliza Bloch in a conversation with Prime Minister Bennett, Interior Minister Shaked and Health Minister Horowitz and the heads of the Ministry of Health: “I want the city of Beit Shemesh to lead a vaccination campaign for all students of vaccine age”
During a meeting held last night, MayorDr. Aliza Bloch said: “I ask that we not launch a vaccination campaign not only for ultra-Orthodox education children. We should launch such an operation for all Israeli children. We are creating a dialogue on this matter with all the education staffs. It is important that the State of Israel make one voice heard. It is easier for me to recruit the education staffs when the State of Israel acts as a unit. The financial incentives will help encourage managers. I prefer that we talk about what can be done and not what cannot. What will we gain from the vaccine and not what will we lose as a result of it. I do not suggest mixing the serological tests applied in the field with vaccines. We need to make an effort to bring in the students of state education, religious and secular, as well as girls from the ultra-Orthodox sector before the start of the year.”
The Prime Minister and the Minister of Health expressed support for the initiative.
