The mayor of Beit Shemesh Dr. Aliza Bloch, who is in the United States as part of a trip visiting different communities, met with the Israeli Ambassador to Israel Mike Herzog.
The two discussed the effects of COVID-19 on community life in Israel and the United States, on the ultra-Orthodox society and the Coronavirus and on the city of Beit Shemesh as one that unites different communities that deal differently with local and global processes.

I told him that it is our duty and responsibility to assist him as much as possible in representing Israel to the world.”
