Getting ready for the stormy weather

This coming weekend (19-20.11.2021) a winter system is expected with fear of floods, with an emphasis on coastal cities.
The following are emphases on the prevention of life-threatening situations:
• Stay away from broken power lines and collapsed trees.
• Do not enter elevators on underground levels and do not stay in parking lots during significant rain events.
• Avoid crossing waterways and flowing streams and entering puddles, which could sweep the vehicle.
• Preparatory measures must be taken, such as preparing heating in the environment of children and the elderly, checking the integrity of the drainage system and gutters, pruning trees, and preparing equipment for the situation of disconnection of towns from the electricity grid and running water.
